Blue Ridge Barn Oak with Sawhorse Legs

Blue Ridge Barn Oak with Reclaimed Locust Sawhorse Legs

The  breadboard top of this custom built farm table is Reclaimed Oak floor  joists salvaged from a circa 1860 grist mill in North Carolina's Blue  Ridge Mountains.  (The grist mill was quickly succumbing to neglect and  was scheduled for demolition for a bridge widening project.)  The locust sawhorse  legs had a previous life for 60-70 years as fence posts on a cattle  farm in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains.  Waterlox Satin Marine Finish.  Metal work by KIMCO.

Table dimension: 35 inches wide x 120 inches long.
