The breadboard top of this custom built farm table is Antique Heart Pine salvaged from the deck boards of a circa 1920 cotton mill. The locust legs had a previous life for 60-70 years as fence posts on a cattle farm in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains.

This custom built expansion trestle table is 100% Reclaimed Blue Ridge Barn Oak salvaged while dismantling a circa 1860 grist mill in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. (The grist mill was quickly succumbing to neglect and was scheduled for demolition for a bridge widening project.) Waterlox Satin Finish.

This custom built expansion trestle table is a combination of Reclaimed Blue Ridge White Pine and Reclaimed Douglas Fir. The White Pine was salvaged from a circa 1920 barn in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. Rather than being part of the barn, the thick, wide planks were in storage in the barn loft...just waiting to be loved. The fir was reclaimed from a circa 1920 commercial building in North Carolina's Piedmont.

Not all of the woods that we work are reclaimed from old buildings. High winds toppled a walnut tree in our client's backyard. The walnut logs were milled on site and the lumber was used for this custom live edge walnut dining room table with breadboard ends.
